A single, summer-tinged exposure captures a façade of 41 Cooper Sq., East Village, reflected in the foyer glass of a walk-up apartment building.  A visual dialogue emerges across 7th St.: each side projects its own tiled hues and angles. An abstract, architectural sculpture emerges from the frame. Self taught artist

Took my time for this one, starting at the beginning of this year, had layers of thick oilpaint dry several times before refining it a bit more, ending at this result. Finally it got to what I envisioned this canvas to be.

Ed Wino explores a decadent future where technology and magic are the same. Upon closer inspection one can see that even the most fantastic of futures is no more immune to blight than our present time. Cracked facades and overgrown weeds mark a duality of achievement, even science beyond our comprehension today, is our future's forgotten trash.

Winter Homes of the Unbound

An apartment building with three visible balconies and nine visible doors; while largely minimal, some balconies feature small signs of life such as hanging laundry and fairy lights.  I am fascinated with the small things apartment-dwellers do to turn their rented spaces into homes, and balconies often show hints into the lives of those inside.
