This piece is about a dream Eve has with Satan before she eats the apple. In my version, Eve is sitting in a chair and being tempted by Satan. Satan rests on the ladder tempting Eve with the ability to go higher. The butterfly wing and the ladder represents the ability to lift oneself up by supernatural means.

Each piece is made using wood scraps from past projects and the armatures of the white sculptures are always constructed from recycled cardboard, plastic packaging, tin foil, etc. Finding a balance between minimalism and warmth can be a challenge and these pieces are intended to do just that. Minimal and weird. Imperfect, but clean.
