_Tatu_ is a powerful exhibition by Masela Nkolo that blends African heritage with contemporary art, reflecting the artist’s deep connection to her roots. Drawing inspiration from the artistic traditions of various Congolese and West African cultures, including the Songwe, Tshokwe, and Luba people, as well as the Baule and Benin of West Africa, Nkolo’s work explores the rich visual language of her heritage.
