To celebrate its 60th anniversary, the [Garrison Art Center (GAC)](https://www.garrisonartcenter.org/smallworks2024) presents _smallWORKS l 60 Years & 60 Works_, a curated exhibition featuring a diverse collection of 2D and 3D artworks centered around three themes: music, politics, and people. The exhibition showcases works submitted through an open call, with several hundred entries narrowed down to 60 selected pieces. The artworks, in mediums such as painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture, are all limited to a maximum size of 12 inches.

The exhibition was curated by GAC alumna and former Executive Director Carinda Swann, alongside former Board President Bill Burback, who both praised the quality and strength of the submissions. Awards for best 2D and best 3D artworks will be announced at the opening reception on Saturday, November 2, 5-7 pm.
